Because if you don’t like any of these 8 cool, dog-friendly spots, 2 more places are not going to help you (you should be laughing). It’s cold outside and we love to bring our dogs with us, so call ahead & make sure their heaters are on.
Wherever you are staying in the Music City, or if you live in the Nashville area, these places are located in many different neighborhoods of our fun city. We are sure, one of them will be close to you! We always recommend that you call ahead to make sure their heaters are on and pups are allowed on the patio.
Pins Mechanical - The Gulch
Their slogan is “When Life Gives You Balls, Play With Them”. Why not check out this dog friendly spot in the Gulch?! They offer fun games using all types of balls: bowling balls, pin balls, bocce balls, and even larger than life beer pong balls. If you do not like fun, pass it by, but for the rest of us it is a great place to hang out, drink, and have fun with friends!
Tennessee Brew Works - Sobro
Tennessee Brew Works was founded with a mission to create high-quality craft beer that pays homage to the land, traditions and culture of Tennessee. They brew beers with integrity using only quality, natural ingredients and source them from local farms whenever possible. PS: The food here is great! It has a cool, laid-back atmosphere, where meeting other dogs is as easy as ordering another beer.
The Hop Yard at Fat Bottom Brewery - The Nations
When the brewery launched in August of 2012, they opened a small taproom and restaurant to showcase their brews to friends and neighbors. With their expansion in 2017, they were thrilled to open The Hop Yard and offer a family friendly brewery dining experience. From the beer garden and patio to weekly specials and events, it’s everything you love about Fat Bottom. Cheers! P.S. - They are opening Teddy's Tavern on Lower Broadway in March 2023. We'll let you know if it's dog-friendly.
Von Elrod’s – Germantown
Inspired by Oktoberfest, Von Elrod’s Beer Hall & Kitchen is a larger-than-life destination for exceptional food, beer and camaraderie. By combining their beer hall concept with an in-house butchery, bakery, wood grill and smoker, Von Elrod’s has quickly become a well-loved restaurant in Germantown. TennFold - Donelson
This great spot is a pizza forward restaurant and brewery but much more than a pizza joint. Their brewery offers several varieties of ales and lagers. They're also community focused and neighborhood driven. TennFold name came from a blend of Tennessee and Fold. The fold in the Appalachian mountains is where people came to gather and it is also the proper way to eat pizza slices. Their mission is to be everyone's favorite restaurant and brewery. They are a fun-lover's neighborhood hangout serving up Good Mood Food, Power Packed Drinks and an Action-Packed atmosphere with Bar Games galore! Bring your pup for some good times, delicious drinks, and fun!

Martin's Bar-B-Que Joint – Belmont & Downtown
They come in at 5AM every morning to smoke their West Tennessee-Style BBQ for 20+ hours. They say “We ain't just BBQ”…their Menu features got some incredibly delicious Smoked Wings and Brisket, Burgers, Tacos, BBQ Nachos, and more. Local brews on tap! And of course, they make all of their sides and pies right there, in-house, every day. Call ahead to other locations...not all of them are pet-friendly.

Urban Grub - 12 South
Nashville's Urban Grub lives up to its motto "stuffy is out," and provides the area with some of the best fine dining in a comfortable, homey environment. The menu features typical Southern dishes with a twist, like the hot chicken tacos, shrimp and grits with smoked gouda and chipotle, and vanilla bean donuts with chocolate covered bacon. Urban Grub is perfect for dining in any weather, and features a beautiful, modern dining room, as well as several outdoor eating areas including one with a fireplace. Urban Grub also features a full bar with wine and specialty cocktails.
